Educational Financing

There are two financial offices on campus: Student Financial Services (SFS) and Financial Aid Office (FAO).

The SFS office handles billing, and will apply charges to your account for tuition, fees, bookstore vouchers, health insurance, and other expenses.

The Financial Aid office is responsible for the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and can provide information on federal work study, scholarships, grants, and loans. When the Financial Aid office disburses financial aid, the SFS office will apply those funds to your account, and issue a refund check if necessary. The Financial Aid office may be able to help graduate students obtain VR support.

SFS handles the VR authorizations and apples the funds to your account.

Meal plan options include a combination of meal blocks and dining dollars. While students who live on-campus are required to select a meal plan each semester, students who live off campus may prefer dining dollars, which work like cash and do not expire. The Plaza Dining Hall, Marketplace, and Rathskeller accept meals blocks and dining dollars, whereas the Bistro and Starbucks only accept dining dollars.
