Financial Aid Important Dates

It is important to remember that you should not wait before applying for financial aid.

Enrollment for:

Fall 2024 Term

If you are applying to attend Gallaudet in the Fall term, complete the 2022-2023 FAFSA.

May 1 Priority Deadline: The Gallaudet University Financial Aid Office must receive a valid FAFSA by this date to consider you for all aid programs. Give yourself plenty of time to apply so that we receive your records on time.

The Financial Aid Office will accept applications after the deadline. Please note, some aid is “first come, first serve.”

Spring 2025 Term

If you are applying to attend Gallaudet in the Spring term, complete the 2022-2023 FAFSA.

November 1 Priority Deadline: The Gallaudet University Financial Aid Office must receive a valid FAFSA by this date to consider you for all aid programs. Give yourself plenty of time to apply so that we receive your records on time.

The Financial Aid Office will accept applications after the deadline. Please note, some aid is “first come, first serve.”

Summer 2025 Term

If you are applying to attend Gallaudet in the Summer term, complete the 2022-2023 FAFSA and Summer IFAA.

April 1 Priority Deadline: The Gallaudet University Financial Aid Office must receive a valid FAFSA by this date to consider you for all aid programs. Give yourself plenty of time to apply so that we receive your records on time. Keep in mind that financial aid for the summer is limited. Students must also complete a Summer Institutional Financial Aid Application.

The Financial Aid Office will not accept Summer IFAA applications after the deadline.

Federal and Private Loans for:

Fall 2024 and Fall 2025 Term

Last day to request loans: 11/30*

Spring 2024 and Spring 2025 Term

Last day to request loans: 04/30*

*Please note that you must complete both Entrance Counseling and Master Promissory Note (MPN) by the deadline, no exceptions
