Roberto Sanchez named ACAD Fellow

Dr. Roberto Sanchez, Interim Dean of Academic and Career Success, has been named an ACAD Fellow for 2022-2023. Participation in this program includes complimentary registration and a $500 travel stipend to attend the ACAD annual meeting February 22-24, 2023 in Tampa, Florida; a one-year ACAD membership; and opportunities to create and build networks and make connections with peers and colleagues. He and other ACAD Fellows will be expected to pursue a collaborative project in service of ACAD, such as an article or notes for the organization’s journal, teh ACAD Leader; proposing a panel, or participating in a roundtable as part of an ACAD session or workshop. 

ACAD, also known as the American Conference of Academic Deans, was established in 1945 and is headquartered in Raleigh, North Carolina. It describes itself as a place for academic administrators to connect and engage in conversations about their work in academia.

Dr. Sanchez previously served as director of the School of Arts and Humanities.
